ABORTION BANNED IN U.S. Washington, D.C. After the Fourth of July holiday, the U.S. Supreme Court will announce a 6-3 decision by the nation's highest court to ban legalized abortion-on-demand, according to sources within the Supreme Court who asked to remain anonymous. Sure to be appealed by a coalition of pro-abortion advocacy groups, this decision is expected to rock the nation like a social earthquake, said both pro-life and pro-choice organizations interviewed by the Aquarian Times. This decision by the Supreme Court was not wholly unexpected, since two conservative judges were appointed by President Bush in following the resignation of two Supreme Court justices due to ill health earlier this year. Ever more sophisticated medical instruments invented each year allow doctors and new parents to listen to and even to watch an unborn child in the womb. Such technologies have confirmed the beliefs of many Christians that life begins at conception. There has also arisen a large number of non-believers and people of no specific religion who now believe that an unborn child is a full-fledged citizen with constitutional rights, according to a recent Gallup poll. The successful push by pro-life groups to ban so-called "partial birth" abortions last year definitely added to the pro-life momentum in the courts and in Congress, said Right to Life political action coordinator, Sam Christopher. Most Christian churches and the American Islamic movement applauded the news about the forthcoming Supreme Court ban on abortions on-demand in the United States. Chris Kelley, spokesman for Church Universal and Triumphant, the avant-garde Church that recently made the "Ascended Masters" a household name, said: "Mother Mary, the Ascended Master incarnated as the mother of Jesus has told us for well over a decade in dictations through the Messenger, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, that if mass abortions continued in America and elsewhere around the world, that this would lead eventually to natural disasters, such as earthquakes and even war, as the fulfillment of the inexorable law of karma, i.e. the spiritual principle of as you sow, so shall you reap.' "This one Supreme Court decision alone, banning abortion" said Kelley, " may be enough to initiate a new era of peace in the earth." C.U.T., for its part, will soon be coming out with two new books on children, Kelley noted. One book will cover in detail how to accelerate a child's learning ability from an early age via the Montessori and related educational methods. The other book, "Swimmers in the Silent Sea," deals with the rich life of the unborn child in the womb and how it is possible to both communicate with the child and to educate him or her in the pre-natal environment. |
